|Why break a window?
Lockheed Electra 10A, New England Air Museum, Windsor Locks, CT, USA
Although the Electra's were built to order, it stands to reason that the G-AESY also had sliding windows in the front. I have found various photos of the G-AESY and the windows as far as I can see have the line that shows they are double glass in the middle as in the above photograph. Which allows us to question, why break a window that slides? I measured the windows of the above aircraft. The largest one is 13inches in height and 19 inches in width.
